The founder
John C. Kontokostas
John C.
Kontokostas, founder and CEO of HMpro, has over 35 years of experience in iconic hotels, both in Greece and abroad.
Having studied Hotel Management as a graduate of the current Hellenic Mediterranean University and completed his studies in Germany, in Berlin, he did his internship at the famous Steigenberger Hotels chain and had the opportunity to attend specialized seminars through the internal school of the chain.
During his career in the hotel sector, he served in positions of responsibility, as a supervisor and manager for the last 15 years, developing skills and great expertise in the management of hotel businesses.
In 2016, he earned a Master of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Alabama through online study
In addition, he is an entrepreneur with his own commercial business and in 2024 he founded HMpro, aiming to transfer his valuable knowledge and experience to hoteliers and investors who wish to create sustainable, healthy and profitable hotel businesses, with an emphasis on excellent service and quality.
